How to upgrade Solid 7299 –

You can download the new software from the link below. We found this update on the company’s website.

After downloading the software, Unzip it and copy .bin file to a USB pen drive. Plug the pen drive into your Solid 7299 box, then open the Software Upgrade section and start the update.

After the upgrade, your box’s list of free-to-air TV channels over the internet will be updated. Connect the box to the internet to watch these channels.

Miracast issue and the Solid TV Box app –

We noticed one problem with the new software: the built-in Miracast feature stopped working.

We called the company, and they suggested downloading the Solid TV Box app from the Play Store. Then turn on DLNA on your box. If your phone and box are connected to the same network, the app should find the box automatically.

I tested it, and my phone’s screen was successfully shown on the TV through the app. Sometimes the sound and video were slightly out of sync, but it worked.
