As you know, DD Free Dish is a satellite-based service that provides all the TV channels free-to-air, which can be received by using any free-to-air satellite receiver.
where
“Internet FTA” (also known as FAST channels) is an internet-based service.

Here is a simple, step-by-step guide on how to watch both –
1. Free-to-air satellite TV channels –
This method uses a satellite signal. You will have a one-time cost for the equipment, but no monthly bills ever.
What You Need:
A DTH Dish Antenna –
A small satellite dish (60-90 cm).
A Free-to-Air (FTA) Set-Top Box –
This is the most important part. You must buy a box that says Solid 7290, Solid 6147, Solid 6165, Solid 6156 & Solid 1080.
Why Solid Set-Top Box? –
Most free-to-air set-top boxes claim to provide free-to-air TV over the internet, but they do not update regularly, so they stop working after a while. Solid, timely updates are broken channels. So that’s why you should choose wisely.
LNB and Coaxial Cable –
This is the small device on the “arm” of the dish and the wire that connects the dish to your set-top box.
A Television –
Any TV with an HDMI or A/V (red, yellow, white) port will work.
2. How to Watch “Internet FTA” (FAST) Channels –
This method uses your internet connection. There is no equipment cost (if you already have the above Solid set-top box models), but you must have a stable Wi-Fi or broadband connection. These services are free because all are FTA channels.
How to Watch –
Just connect your box to an active wifi connection.
Now log in to the SolidTVBox app (username & password will be provided by customer care).
Now you access 200+ free-to-air satellite and internet TV channels.
So incase if case you are not receiving a satellite TV signal due to the rainy season, then you can still enjoy free-to-air TV channels.
If you are already using SolidTVBox in Solid set-top boxes, then you must post your review about that so that we can update it here.
