WATCHMORETHAN300 CHANNELS FOR FREE

How to connect multiple dish to obtain maximum channels?

Many people ,almost 99 % know that we can connect a dish to a settop box and obtain a certain number of channels as provided or broadcasted by a broadcaster.

We often tend to limit ourselves to the list of programmes  ,made available by the the broadcaster ,while we can go and change the general idea of using a regular paid dth to obtain quality services.

We can free ourselves from the packages offered by dth companies and  can create our Own package. And that too most of the time cost free.

We know that  DD(Door Darshan ) freedish, earlier known as DD DIRECT have been broadcasting free channels for quite some time now.But channels  provided were very few in number.

Apart from these there are many other broadcasters ,providing their service for free, but they are not so popular as it ought to be.

LET Us consider just 4 sattellites providing free to air services.

Dd freedish Gsat 15 93.5 E KU BAND 120 CHANNELS
NSS6/SES8 SES 8 95 E KU BAND 45 CHANNELS
ABS FREE VIEW ABS 2 74.9 E KU BAND 100 CHANNELS
ASIASAT ASIASAT 7 105.5  E C  BAND 100 CHANNELS
TOTAL CHANNELS 365 CHANNELS

Now we have been using these individual dth using single dish system and receive about a max of 100 channels  .But if we can collect all these channels we could receive 365 channels and all that absolutely free(without any monthly rental).

Collecting these channels require a system called multiple dish system.

How it works?

Consider there are four friends  A,B,C & D

A likes watching national channels on dd fredish, and gets 120 channels

B likes watching regional channels on ABS 2 and gets 100 channels

C likes watching entertainment channels on dish tv and gets 45 channels

D likes watching urdu channels  on asiasat 7and gets 100 channels.

There connection type may be depicted as.

Now if we can combine all of their channels we can get a total of 365 channels for all.

Now if these  dish antennas are used in a combined system  channels can be increased .Settup required is as depicted below.

After connecting all these together setup in the STB must also be configured.

For this

step 1:Select  4 sattellites in the satellite list  if available or create it if not listed.

step 2:Change the lnb freq according to the transmission type against each  sattelliite.

For example for ddfreedish change lnb freq to universal(9750-10600) and for asiasat 7 to c band 5150

step 3:After configuring the LNB FREQ CHANGE THE DISEQC setting

In DiseQc assign port number as A,B,C,D or port A,PORT B,PORT C or PORT D to all the satellites depending on the connections made

If you have connected dd freedish antenna to PORT A of the switch assign port A in DiseqC  setting for dd freedish satellite,   for asiasat 7 set it as port D if you connected it to port D of the switch

For above setup I have used the following setting

DISH ANTENA LNB FREQ DISEQC 1.0
DD FREEDISH UNIV(9750-10600) A
ABS FREEVIEW UNIV(9750-10600) B
DISH TV UNIV(9750-10600) C
ASIASAT 7 C BAND -5150 D

After succesful configurations you may go on with blind scan or auto scan depending on suitability, for different sattellites together using multi sattellite search(if available) or single sat search one by one for all four sattellites.

After completion of scan you can enjoy more than 350 channels indifferent categories and regions.

If you wish to distribute these to others as well this may be done using setup depicted below.

In this case scan process must be done on all STBs one by one .

These type of connection has issues regarding signal power and blackouts at times.

These setup can be extended to 16 dish or 32 dishes, but requires professional equipments and can come with some cost.In case if signal power is reduced we can use in line amplifiers to increase the signal powers lost due to interconnection.
